(Portable Network Graphic) While JPG files may be better suited for photographs, PNG files work better for graphics. PNG files tends to have a larger file size than JPG files, but it also preserves hard edges and can handle a high amount of colors while keeping the load time fast enough to use online.
EPS
(Encapsulated PostScript) File format is a complex file format that preserves picture quality when enlarged or used in multiple applications. File sizes are relatively large and not all applications will use EPS files.
