MONTPELIER HIGH SCHOOL
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2023 AND BEYOND

Graduation Requirements:

• Step 1: Earn 20  Credits
• Step 2: Show Competency Earn a score of 684 or higher on Algebra I AND English Language Arts II EOC Tests.
• Step 3: Show Readiness Earn two diploma seals, one must be Ohio-designed.

VALEDICTORIAN, SALUTATORIAN, and Top 10 % REQUIREMENTS
Students earning the first and second position of class rank at the conclusion of the seventh semester of their senior year shall be honored as Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Students must be enrolled at Montpelier High School as a full-time student prior to the start of fifth semester to be considered for the honor of Valedictorian or Salutatorian. The top 10% of the class will also be determined after seven semesters.
